Thanks to our prolific golf course ranker, Brian Clark, we have discovered that the course closed in 2013. Apparently the cost to repair the flood damage of 2013 along with realization that it could happen again led to the closure.

Played this course in 2012 and liked the length 7,018 yds / 129 slope / 73.0 that was very flat but mowed to give some hole character with some added trees. Walking 18 for $15 and shooting 83/35putts from the tips was nice. All of the greens were elevated which made full carry to the pin locations, I like this in a course. Looked to replay on my way back through this week (Nov 2015) to find its been closed since March 2013 because of flooding costs in the past. The new Municipal course that replaced it is "Battleground" located outside of town.
